Gojjavalakki / How to prepare gojjavalakki from instant mix ?



In the previous post I had shared with you the recipe for Instant Gojjavalakki mix.

Preparing gojjavalakki  from this instant mix hardly takes any time or effort.
 Please note that the color of the instant mix will vary on the quantity and color of sambhar pd and rasam powder added to it.



Method- 1
Take 1 part of the Gojjavalakki instant mix in a bowl.
Pour one and a half parts water over it.
Keep it covered for 10-15 mins.
Loosen it with help of a spoon.
Eat it or carry in your lunch box.
If you want to eat it hot just heat this up in microwave for a minute.

Method- 2
If you want a warm breakfast  you can do this in the rice cooker.


Take 100 ml Instant gojju avalakki mix in the rice cooker pan.


Pour 150 ml of room temperature water over it. Cover and keep it aside for 15 mins.


Mix it with a wooden spoon (this protects your non stick pan from scratches)


Transfer this rice cooker pan into the rice cooker.
Cover and press the 'cook' button.
Cook till it is hot.
